Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Project Coordinator to support health sciences research and measure development initiatives in the QORA department. This full-time, grant-funded role is remote and can be home-based.

Current funding expires April 1, 2027, with potential extension. You will manage meetings, documentation, budgets, and program operations in collaboration with researchers and external partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant administrative/project coordination experience.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Administrative expertise with data management.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Proven ability to collaborate across internal and external partners.
• Experience coordinating meetings/events across stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of initiatives, including scheduling and agenda management.
• Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and updates.
• Process invoices and track budgets and expenses.
• Support virtual meeting logistics and technology setup.
• Serve as primary contact for participants and partners.
• Prepare status reports, summaries, and communications.
• Assist with development of program materials and templates.
• Coordinate timelines and deliverables for research activities.
