Job summary

American Heart Association is seeking a Project Coordinator to support health sciences research and measure development within the Quality, Outcome Research, & Analytics (QORA) team. The role emphasizes coordinating meetings, maintaining documentation, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across internal staff, researchers, and external partners.

The position is full-time, benefits-eligible, and grant-funded with current funding through April 1, 2027, potentially extendable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of administrative/project coordination experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
• Experience coordinating meetings and project activities across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings, track action items, and maintain project documentation.
• Input data in tracking systems, databases, and SharePoint.
• Handle invoices, budgets, and grant administration tasks.
• Support virtual meeting logistics and tech setup.
• Serve as main contact for participants, SMEs, and partners.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and stakeholder updates.
• Develop program materials, templates, and resources.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and schedules for research activities.
