Job summary

Blattner Company seeks an experienced leader for project controls to guide a team, analyze CPM schedules, and manage risk and change on major energy projects.

You will oversee schedulers and consultants, deliver schedules, forecasts, dashboards, and risk analyses while ensuring contractual obligations are met. The role requires extensive travel (up to 50%), with relocation to Minnesota considered for some assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education or relevant experience required.
• Five or more years progressive experience in a construction project controls discipline including project scheduling, cost, or risk analysis or a combination of these experiences.
• 3-5 years previous experience leading senior level individual contributors required.
• Subject Matter Expertise with Primavera P6.
• Remote/travel role with 50% travel if remote and 25% if relocating to Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the assigned project controls team and third-party consultants to support deliverables.
• Provide support, performance evaluation, and mentorship to the project controls team.
• Develop, control, and analyze CPM schedules and schedule risk analysis.
• Manage schedulers workload to ensure reporting deliverables (schedules, forecasts, risk registers, dashboards) are timely.
• Drive strategic analysis of project data to inform management decisions.
• Ensure contractual obligations to clients are met and advise on change management.
