Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support its US West Advisory practice. The role can be remote, hybrid, or on-site based on the applicant’s preference, with emphasis on cost, schedule, and performance targets across multiple projects.

The successful candidate will integrate policy, technical, and financial analysis to help cities and agencies deliver reliable, efficient programs while coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 4 years of related experience in project controls or equivalent
• Preferred 8+ years of project controls in engineering/construction/related fields.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, earned value and cost reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead the project controls function on multiple projects for a large portfolio.
• Review performance trends and prepare cost impact analyses and monthly reports.
• Prepare regular cost reports including actual vs. committed costs and update forecasts.
• Establish project budgets from proposals and assist with project setup and execution.
• Coordinate with project personnel to develop Work Breakdown Structures and schedules.
• Communicate results of budget, cost and schedule analyses to PMs and leadership.
• Assist with procurement, purchase orders, and subcontract administration.
• Monitor KPI metrics such as earned value, schedule performance, and ETC.
