Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Controller to support its Minneapolis, MN architecture and engineering practice. The role can be remote, hybrid, or on-site based on the applicant’s preference, with a full-time schedule and a compensation range of USD 80,000 to 110,000 per year.

The successful candidate will lead project controls across a portfolio of Ohio and national projects, manage budgets, forecasts, and invoicing, and collaborate with PMs, finance, and procurement to ensure contract

Qualifications

BA/BS and 4+ years of related project controls experience required.
US Citizenship is a requirement for this role.
Prior experience in engineering/construction management is preferred.

Responsibilities

Detail-oriented, efficient, and organized approach to project controls.
Lead and coordinate the project controls function across multiple projects.
Prepare regular cost reports and update forecasts based on progress and earned value.
Review and approve contractor invoices; manage budgets and commitments.
Coordinate with project teams to establish Work Breakdown Structures and budgets.
Monitor KPIs, including earned value and schedule performance; report findings to stakeholders.
Assist Project Managers with procurement, PO creation, and subcontract administration.
Maintain data quality and ensure timely monthly/per project end reporting.
