Job summary

AECOM seeks an experienced Project Controller to support the Minneapolis, MN architecture and engineering practice. The role allows remote, hybrid, or on-site work per applicant preference, with a focus on financial, schedule, and performance targets across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include cost reporting, invoicing oversight, budget development, and coordination with project teams. Strong Excel, project controls leadership, and Federal contract knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

BA/BS + 4 years of related experience in project controls or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.
Experience with engineering/construction management preferred.
Sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this role.

Responsibilities

Monitor earned value, cost and schedule performance and forecast end dates.
Prepare monthly project performance reports and cost analyses.
Review client invoices and establish invoice schedules per terms.
Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures and budgets.
Coordinate with project teams for accurate Salesforce updates and procurement actions.
Lead meetings with project teams, approvers, and finance.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements and reporting needs.
Communicate effectively with clients on invoicing, contracts, and reporting.
