Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Controller to support the Minneapolis architecture and engineering practice with a focus on financial performance across a broad project portfolio. The role offers hybrid work options and requires strong budgeting, cost reporting, and earned value management capabilities.

Candidates should hold a BA/BS with 4 years of related experience, and US citizenship is required. Prior engineering/construction management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project controls on a large portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare regular cost reports including actual vs. budget and forecasts.
• Establish project budgets from proposal estimates and assist with project setup.
• Coordinate with project personnel to develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Communicate results of budget, cost and schedule analyses to PMs and leaders.
• Lead meetings with Project Approvers, Finance and Accounting.
• Assist with procurement to establish purchase orders and subcontract agreements; track spending.
