Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Project Accountant to oversee and report on project cost accounting, ideally located in the United States with remote work options. You will coordinate with operations and accounting, review performance metrics, and manage invoicing and collections to ensure timely reporting and accuracy.

A CPA/CMA is preferred, with 7+ years in corporate accounting and project exposure in architecture/engineering/construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent relevant experience required.
• Seven or more years of corporate accounting experience preferred.
• Prior project accounting experience within architecture, engineering, and/or construction industry preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and Deltek Vantagepoint knowledge preferred.
• AP full cycle exposure required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and report on project cost accounting in adherence to company policies.
• Act as a liaison between operations and corporate accounting functions.
• Review and analyze key performance metrics to support operations management.
• Identify, research, and resolve project issues.
• Manage monthly invoicing process for projects.
• Prepare accounts with outstanding balances for escalation.
