NESEA, the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association, is expanding its program and events team. The role focuses on planning and staffing building tours, conferences, and related programs while supporting scholarship and magazine initiatives.

The position blends remote planning with regional travel to staffing events and close collaboration with our program staff. We value strong organizational and communication skills, comfort with databases and Google tools, and a proactive, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Ability to travel regionally in the Northeast (New England and New York State) with occasional overnight travel.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation for events.

Responsibilities

• Plan and staff small-scale events (15–50 people) including scheduling, venue, catering, and logistics.
• Manage scholarship and business development program records and outreach.
• Track components of the magazine program and coordinate speakers and sponsors.
• Maintain database records and expenses for program activities.
• Communicate with event sponsors and participants, both on-site and remotely.
