Job summary

MADD Texas is seeking a program coordinator to lead underage drinking prevention efforts, planning events, managing volunteers, and ensuring materials for programs across state and local partners.

The role is remote with a requirement to reside in the San Antonio area, up to 50% travel, and a Bachelor's degree with 1–2 years in related programs. Strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Human Services or equivalent experience.
• One to two years’ experience in work with the implementation of community awareness, education, partnership and youth programs specifically related to community health.
• Travel and flexible hours are required.
• Strong organizational skills, be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a high-volume environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to foster an emotionally supportive environment for victims and survivors.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and convey thoughts clearly, logically, and concisely both orally and in writing, using appropriate grammar and command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design events targeted to accomplish objectives and provide marketing and outreach to community agencies.
• Ensure grant proposals include MADD’s program directives.
• Manage implementation and logistics of prevention programs through training designs at the State and Local level.
• Organize orientation, evaluation meetings, facilitator training and parent workshops.
• Source and recruit volunteers for applicable programs.
• Provide training and coaching to volunteers and staff.
• Maintain tracking and data collection of programs and grant results, and support evaluation and improvement.
