Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Program Manager to lead cross-team, multi-vendor coordination that keeps the VA's PGHD ecosystem running reliably, supporting the Veterans Health Administration. The role spans PGHD apps, Validic’s aggregation platform, and Google Health integrations, requiring strong program-management and Agile delivery skills.

Remote in the United States with up to 10% travel for quarterly reviews. Ideal candidates will have federal program experience, PGHD familiarity, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years experience (or commensurate experience).
• Experience supporting federal programs or within VA/OCC environment.
• Familiarity with health data integration platforms such as Validic or CGM data.
• Experience with health data API transitions or integrations like Google Health.
• Experience with native mobile (iOS/Android) and web product delivery.
• Background working with PGHD or clinical data sources.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and OAuth/CASA workflows.
• Familiarity with modern tech stacks, APIs, cloud platforms or DevSecOps.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Experience with distributed, remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery across multiple products, vendors and teams in a matrixed environment.
• Supervise staff who may or may not support the work functionally overseen.
• Align efforts across engineering, integration partners, and system owners.
• Manage schedules, status reporting, and issue remediation to meet goals.
• Resolve cross-team blockers and elevate risks to leadership as needed.
• Oversee sprint planning, execution and retrospectives across teams.
