Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Program Manager to lead cross-team, multi-vendor coordination that keeps the VA's PGHD ecosystem running reliably, supporting the Veterans Health Administration. This role oversees delivery across PGHD apps, Validic, and Google Health integrations, aligning goals with technical execution in a national-scale effort.

The ideal candidate has program management and Agile delivery experience and can navigate complex healthcare systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 12+ years experience or commensurate experience.
Experience supporting federal programs or within VA/OCC environment.
Familiarity with health data integration platforms such as Validic, or with CGM/remote patient monitoring data.
Experience with health data API transitions or integrations such as Google Health or similar device APIs.
Experience with native mobile (iOS and Android) and web product delivery.
Background working with patient-generated health data (PGHD) or clinical data sources.
Knowledge of compliance standards, OAuth/CASA workflows, or healthcare-related systems.
Familiarity with modern tech stacks, APIs, cloud platforms, or DevSecOps.
Experience with backlog tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Experience working with distributed, remote teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate delivery across multiple products, vendors and teams in a matrixed environment.
Supervise staff in a matrixed environment including performance oversight and development.
Lead cross-functional coordination between VA teams, Validic, and device vendors.
Drive Google Health API transition across PGHD applications and pipelines.
Coordinate investigation and resolution of data-quality issues across sources.
Facilitate vendor partnerships and negotiations for new integrations.
Manage pre-read and action-item workflows for coordinated sessions.
