Job summary

SAIC has a Program Control Manager opening in the Civilian Business Group. This role can be worked remotely within the United States.

You will lead day-to-day financial functions for multiple programs and partner with program managers, finance, contracts, and external customers to drive timely, accurate program performance. The candidate will bring proven expertise in project planning, control, variance analysis, and federal procurement, with strong FP&A skills and experience managing a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in project planning and control
• Variance analysis experience
• Financial planning and analysis experience
• Experience managing a team and mentoring junior staff
• Familiarity with government contracting regulations
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day internal business & financial functions of multiple programs and assist the Program Management team with long-range financial goals
• Interface with program managers, SAIC’s finance, accounting, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement organizations, and external customers daily
• Train junior staff with level of detail required for program deliverables
• Support cash flow improvement by maintaining detailed invoice backup reports
• Prepare and distribute financial information and analysis for program management and leadership
• Support development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasts, and EACs
• Develop budgets and perform financial variance analysis
• Conduct cost, schedule, and contract performance variance analysis
• Submit and manage purchase requisitions for subcontractors and consultants
• Review RFPs, prepare pricing models and cost analyses
• Establish and manage EVMS baseline and ensure alignment between scope, schedule, and cost
• Analyze cost and schedule performance including CPI, SPI, and variance trends
