Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS.
• Professional coder certification with credentialing from AHIMA and/or AAPC.
• Proficient PC skills in Windows and Excel; comfortable using EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify CPT, ICD-10 Codes and Modifiers for E/M services across multiple areas.
• Apply coding knowledge to analyze CCI Edits and Medical Necessity Edits.
• Abstract data elements during chart review when coding as needed.
• Adhere to coding guidelines and client policies.
• Maintain performance in coding quality and productivity as directed.
