Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing Specialist to address coding quality, compliance reviews, and payer auditing remotely with a flexible schedule. You will conduct audits, provide clear rationale, and educate coders while staying current with regulatory changes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in professional fee coding/auditing, CPC certification, and EMR experience (Epic, Cerner). This remote role supports a multi-specialty healthcare environment and offers education stipends and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing.
• CPC certification required; CPMA preferred.
• Maintain 95% accuracy in coding/auditing tasks.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner and other EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional fee coding audits of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers.
• Provides concise rationale with references and documentation locations for changes.
• Keeps up with regulatory changes and priorities multiple cases concurrently.
• Educates coders through the auditing process and supports workflow improvements.
• Adheres to AHIMA's code of ethics and maintains professionalism.
