Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing Specialist to perform professional fee coding audits using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers, while providing clear rationale and staying current with regulatory changes. The role is fully remote with a flexible schedule.

Candidates with CPC, 5+ years of coding/auditing, and experience with Epic or Cerner are preferred; CPMA is a plus. 20 hours per week preferred, sign-on bonus of $1,000, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing.
• CPC certification required.
• CPMA certification preferred.
• Maintain 95% accuracy in coding audits.
• Experience with EMR systems like Epic and Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional fee coding audits of medical records.
• Provides concise rationale with references and documentation locations.
• Keeps abreast of regulatory changes.
• Organizes and prioritizes multiple cases to maintain workflow.
• Provides coder education via the auditing process.
