Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing Specialist to conduct professional fee coding audits and provide rationale for changes across medical records. The role supports compliance, payer reviews, and coding education from a fully remote workspace.

Strong accuracy and knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and EMR systems are essential. Ideal candidates have multi-specialty experience and availability within normal business hours, with ~20 hours per week preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing.
• CPC certification is required.
• CPMA certification is preferred.
• Maintain 95% accuracy rate.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner and other EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Audit professional fee coding of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers.
• Provide rationale with specific references and documentation locations for any changes.
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes.
• Organize and prioritize multiple cases concurrently.
• Provide coder education via the auditing process.
• Operate professionally, efficiently and positively.
• Adhere to AHIMA’s code of ethics.
• Be customer-service oriented and dependable.
• Handle high complexity decisions and duties.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, teamwork and leadership skills.
