Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing Specialist to support coding quality and education across a remote, flexible schedule. The role involves audits of medical records with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS, delivering clear rationale for changes and staying current with regulatory updates.

You will educate coders and collaborate in a fast-paced, professional environment. Ideally, you bring 5+ years in professional fee coding/auditing, CPC certification, and familiarity with EMRs like Epic and Cerner.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing.
• CPC (required).
• CPMA (preferred).
• Maintain 95% accuracy rate.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, and other EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional fee coding audits of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers.
• Provides concise rationale with references and documentation locations for changes.
• Keeps abreast of regulatory changes.
• Organizes and prioritizes multiple cases to ensure workflow and resolution.
• Provides coder education through auditing processes.
• Adheres to AHIMA’s code of ethics.
• Demonstrates professionalism, flexibility, dependability, and a commitment to excellence.
• Exhibits strong organizational, teamwork, and leadership skills.
