Job summary

Managed Resources, Inc. is seeking a remote Professional Lead Auditor to audit medical records, determine accurate professional fee codes, and prepare formal audit reports. You’ll oversee client projects and ensure QA of other auditors under supervision.

The role focuses on strengthening internal operations through coding accuracy, regulatory compliance, and data-driven insights to support leadership decisions and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience abstracting CPT, E/M, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM codes from provider documentation.
• Lead or supervise audits; develop recommendations and written reports.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and EMR systems; knowledge of coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-specialty provider and coder audits comparing documentation to codes (E/M, CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM).
• Enter data into audit software and generate audit findings and recommendations.
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance across audits and provide client updates.
