Job summary

We seek a Profee Auditing & Education Specialist to audit professional fee coding, educate coders, and drive compliance across multiple EMRs. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and impact across healthcare stakeholders.

You will perform audits, develop educational content, identify trends, and present topics to coders and providers, all while maintaining high accuracy and ethics standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Professional Fee coding and/or auditing, mostly auditing.
• 3+ years creating and presenting professional fee education.
• Multi-specialty coding/auditing experience.
• CPC certification; CPMA preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
• Maintain 95% accuracy; experience with EMRs like Epic/Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional fee coding audits of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers with proper references.
• Provide clear rationale with references and documentation locations for any changes.
• Organize multiple cases concurrently to maintain workflow and resolution timelines.
• Develop and deliver virtual coder education programs and training materials.
• Identify coding trends and education gaps; create targeted content for improvement.
• Collaborate with leadership and clients to maintain educational materials and tools.
• Present coding and compliance topics to coders, providers, and stakeholders.
