Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing & Education Specialist to lead professional fee coding audits, develop coder education programs, and support compliance reviews. You will deliver webinars, create resources, and present topics to clinicians and coders in a fully remote role with a flexible schedule.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in professional fee coding/auditing, 3+ years in education creation, and CPC certification; CPMA preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional fee coding and/or auditing.
• 3+ years of professional fee education creation and presentation.
• Multispecialty coding/auditing experience.
• CPC certification; CPMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional fee coding audits of medical records and abstracts using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers.
• Provides rationale with references and documentation locations for changes.
• Organizes and prioritizes multiple cases to maintain workflow.
• Develops and delivers virtual coder education programs and training materials.
• Identifies coding trends, audit findings, and knowledge gaps; creates targeted content.
• Collaborates with leadership and clients to maintain educational resources.
• Acts as subject matter expert presenting coding and compliance topics to coders and providers.
• Keeps professional conduct and ethics; adheres to standards.
