Encova Insurance is seeking a Production Underwriter, Package Lines, in the Madison or Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. The role focuses on commercial lines underwriting, building agency relationships, and achieving premium growth while maintaining profitability.

The position requires 5+ years of underwriting experience, strong writing and communication skills, and travel within the territory. A company vehicle is provided and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive commercial lines underwriting experience in package lines and/or worker's compensation preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, demonstrated underwriting experience may substitute.
• Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Encova Insurance as agency manager for assigned agents with a focus on commercial lines.
• Develop and maintain agency relationships through regular visits and effective communication.
• Prepare and participate in proposals; negotiate terms and conditions for new and renewal business.
