Job summary

Encova Insurance is seeking a Production Underwriter, Package Lines for Georgia, focusing on accounts over $100k in premium. This is a remote role for Georgia residents with statewide travel to agencies to grow relationships and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive commercial lines underwriting experience in package lines and/or worker’s compensation.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, demonstrated underwriting knowledge and sales/marketing skills.
• Strong writing, analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain agency relationships through regular visits with agency leadership and production staff.
• Grow premium and profitability across assigned agencies and manage renewals.
• Coordinate agency training and provide tools to build profitable growth.
• Identify underwriting issues and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare and participate in proposals to producers and negotiate terms.
