Job summary

Encova Insurance seeks a Production Underwriter, Package Lines, for Georgia. This remote role serves accounts over $100k in premium and will travel across the state to visit agencies and develop relationships; a company vehicle is provided.

Reporting to the Regional Vice President, Commercial Lines, you will manage underwriting, pricing and profitability for new and renewal business, build agency partnerships, and drive growth while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive commercial lines underwriting.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; substantial underwriting experience may substitute.
• Strong writing, communication, and sales/marketing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain agency relationships through regular visits.
• Grow premium and profitability by underwriting and risk assessment.
• Coordinate agency training and provide tools for profitable growth.
• Submit reports and participate in industry events.
• Review risks, pricing, and acceptance for new and renewal business.
