Job summary

Encova Insurance is seeking a Production Underwriter for Package Lines in Wisconsin. The role focuses on commercial lines, developing agency relationships and growing profitable premium. A company vehicle is provided and travel across the territory is expected.

The position reports to a Regional VP, Commercial Lines and requires strong underwriting skills, knowledge of pricing, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive commercial lines underwriting experience in package lines and/or worker’s compensation.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting, pricing and coverage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain agency relationships through regular visits with agency leadership and staff.
• Coordinate agency training and assist agencies with tools for profitable growth.
• Identify underwriting issues; develop plans for problem resolution and implement them.
