Job summary

Thrivent seeks a senior product leader to own the long-term product roadmap as part of the broader business strategy. You will develop a compelling product strategy through personas, use cases, customer benefits, and solution value propositions, and lead collaboration to prioritize roadmaps and releases across multiple products.

With 10+ years in product management, you will drive KPI-based decisions, mentor teams, manage budgets, and ensure outcomes align with Thrivent’s mission to help clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years relevant business experience, including in product manager role, product owner role or similar.
• Understand fundamentals of iterative development, software development process and procedures.
• Expertise in the principles of Agile Product Management, stakeholder management, market and user research, technology management, and process design.
• High-level of organization and attention to detail.
• Passion and understanding of new technology and trends.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and influence skills among all organizational levels; strong facilitation and executive communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops a compelling product strategy through analysis of personas, use cases, customer benefits, and solution value propositions.
• Leads team collaboration to manage and prioritize product roadmap and releases across multiple products.
• Collaborates to resolve conflicts in a constructive manner when they arise.
• Identifies and tracks performance metrics to monitor health of the product and focus improvements.
• Engages with customers and users to translate needs into product hypotheses tested to deliver solutions.
• Researches and identifies industry best practices and trends to increase effectiveness.
• Recruits, develops, and sustains a high-performing team with accountability and partnership across the organization.
• Models Thrivent’s leadership competencies and supports a culture aligned with Thrivent’s values.
