Job summary

Thrivent Financial is seeking an Engineering Manager for Product Acquisition to lead a team of engineers and drive the Wealth Management and Insurance Product technology strategy. You will mentor engineers, partner with Product Managers, and align initiatives with Thrivent’s technology vision.

The role emphasizes DevOps maturity, architecture collaboration, and cross-team coordination for delivery. The ideal candidate brings hands-on technical experience across Java, React, AWS, and cloud-native

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of progressively responsible positions in Information Technology including 5+ years’ experience in software development, portfolio strategy and roadmap development.

Responsibilities

Review technical solution design ensuring it aligns with our architecture.
Provide guidance and direction to the team and participate in system design discussions.
Lead a team of engineers and collaborate with other engineering teams on strategy and execution.
