Job summary

Pollardwater, a division of Ferguson Waterworks, seeks a Product Specialist to provide technical product expertise and sales support remotely across the United States. You will train customers, respond to inquiries, and help manage product catalogs and marketing materials.

You will collaborate with sales teams, organize training sessions, and participate in events to strengthen relationships with vendors and customers, while traveling up to 15% for trade shows and meetings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in MRO, utility, waterworks, or closely related industries.
• Experience with chemical feed systems, laboratory equipment, water treatment, or wastewater operations preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude to understand product applications, specs and customer needs.
• Excellent communication and ability to train internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for designated product categories: chemical feed and laboratory equipment.
• Respond to daily technical inquiries from customers, sales teams, and vendors.
• Provide training on operation, application, theory, and troubleshooting of products.
• Develop project schedules and coordinate activities across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with outside sales to drive adoption and support partnerships.
• Attend meetings, lunches, trade shows, and engineering presentations to promote products.
