Job summary

ATCC is hiring a remote Product Manager for Media & Reagents to shape strategy for cell culture media, sera, supplements, reagents, and related products. Own the portfolio roadmap, translate customer needs into requirements, and drive growth and new product development in a global non-profit biotech setting.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, market insights, and product launches with a focus on life sciences applications and end-user workflows in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business, or related field with 8+ years' experience (or equivalent PhD +3 or Masters +6)
• Experience managing product portfolios and influencing cross-functional teams within a matrix organization
• 3–5 years in Product Management, Product Marketing, Portfolio Management, Business Development, or related life science roles
• Experience with biological products, reagents, cell culture, microbiology, molecular biology, or reference materials
• Experience lifecycle management and development of business cases or commercialization plans
• Strong knowledge of life science markets, workflows, and applications
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Preferred: MS or MBA; Preferred: experience with cell culture media/reagents

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies; own a three-year roadmap for assigned portfolios
• Translate customer insights into product requirements and priorities
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify growth opportunities
• Lead cross-functional NPDI initiatives across product lifecycles
• Drive product launches and commercialization planning
• Develop pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics
