Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Product Manager to lead strategy, delivery, and ongoing oversight of a custom-developed product within the OCC portfolio. This role ensures alignment of product goals with stakeholder needs and technical execution to support mission-critical outcomes.

The position is fully remote within the United States, with responsibilities including planning, cross-functional team leadership, and vendor management to ensure timely, quality deliverables and clear performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and 2–5 years of related experience.
• Proven track record as a Product Manager overseeing custom software development projects.
• Ability to define product vision, roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management for enterprise systems.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing vendor/contractor teams and evaluating delivery against requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products.
• Lead a multidisciplinary project team and oversee budgets and schedules.
• Review status, manage risks, and report progress to leadership.
• Develop mechanisms to monitor progress and facilitate problem solving.
• Coordinate with vendors and track deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and deliverables.
• Lead project meetings, tracking, analysis, and reporting.
