Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Product Manager to lead strategy, delivery, and oversight of a custom-developed product within the OCC portfolio. The role aligns product goals with stakeholder needs and technical execution to support mission-critical program outcomes.

This position is fully remote within the United States, requiring strong leadership in Agile environments, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication to drive value and ensure successful delivery against contract objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in project/product management.
• 2–5 years of product management experience overseeing custom software development.
• Ability to define product vision, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear technical requirements.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management for enterprise systems.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing vendor or contractor teams and evaluating delivery against requirements.
• Data-driven decision making and problem solving.”
• Clearance required: Suitability/Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Create integrated project plans for contracts and new products.
• Manage project teams and budgets, track status and schedules.
• Develop mechanisms to monitor progress and intervene as needed.
• Lead design, implementation and testing in line with objectives.
• Define requirements and plan lifecycle deployment.
• Supervise staff and coordinate tasks across teams.
• Oversee vendor task integration and deliverables.
• Ensure quality standards and regular project reporting.
