Job summary

Sourcebooks is seeking a Product Manager for the Awareness Platform to own our mobile and web experiences from discovery to delivery and optimization. This role requires hands-on ownership, customer advocacy, and collaboration with development teams across hybrid/remote locations in the U.S.

with a salary range of $105,000 to $125,000. You will drive onboarding, content discovery, subscriptions, engagement, and retention, while leading QA, release readiness, and post-launch iterations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management with mobile/web ownership.
• Experience defining, prioritizing, testing, and releasing product improvements with software teams.
• Strong customer and UX orientation with analytical judgment.
• Technical fluency across mobile/web lifecycles and backend systems.
• Excellent project management, QA, and cross-functional communication.
• Entrepreneurial, curious, collaborative mindset.
• Interest in books, reader culture, and connecting readers with authors.

Responsibilities

• Own the user experience and platform roadmap for web and mobile.
• Translate feedback and analytics into improvements.
• Write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with development teams.
• Improve onboarding, navigation, content discovery, subscriptions, engagement, retention, and UX/UI.
• Own product QA, release readiness, messaging, and post-launch optimization.
• Manage external development partners, vendors, and SOWs/RFPs.
• Drive reader discovery and connections to keep readers coming back.
