Thrivent is seeking a Manager, Product to lead strategy and develop product talent across one or more complex engineering platforms. In this player-coach role, the Manager blends deep product management expertise with people leadership to help teams build scalable, self-service capabilities that improve how engineers build, deliver, secure, and operate software across Thrivent.

The Manager owns the long-term vision, strategy, adoption, and measurable outcomes of their products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years relevant business experience in product management, product ownership, or similar.
• Understanding of iterative development, software development processes.
• Expertise in Agile Product Management, stakeholder management, market and user research.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Passion for new technology and trends.
• Strong communication and executive facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops long-term product roadmaps aligned to business strategy.
• Ensures execution of roadmaps through releases across multiple products.
• Leads cross-functional collaboration to prioritize product work.
• Addresses conflicts constructively to keep initiatives on track.
• Aligns product outcomes with business goals and metrics.
• Tracks KPIs to monitor health and drive improvements.
• Coaches teams to deliver measurable improvements.
• Ensures roadmap capacity is balanced with customer value.
