Job summary

Thrivent Financial is seeking a Manager, Product to define strategy and drive outcomes for engineering productivity platforms. As a player-coach, you will blend senior product management with people leadership to develop scalable, self-service capabilities for engineers across Thrivent.

You will partner with Engineering Managers, Principal Engineers, Architects, and stakeholders to translate insights into product plans, balancing customer needs, data, and constraints to deliver durable leverage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years relevant business experience including product manager/owner roles.
• Understanding of iterative development and software delivery processes.
• Expertise in Agile Product Management, stakeholder management, market/user research, and process design.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns long-term product roadmap as part of a larger business strategy.
• Develops compelling product strategy through personas, use cases, and value propositions.
• Leads collaboration to manage roadmaps and releases across multiple products.
• Engages with customers to uncover needs and translate into testable hypotheses.
• Tracks KPIs and ensures outcomes align with business goals.
• Builds a high-performing team and promotes a culture of accountability and excellence.
