Job summary

Thrivent Financial seeks a Manager, Product to define strategy, drive outcomes, and develop product talent for engineering platforms. In this player-coach role, the manager blends deep product management with people leadership to help teams build scalable, self-service capabilities that improve how engineers build, deliver, secure, and operate software across Thrivent.

They partner with Engineering Managers, Principal Engineers, Architects, and stakeholders to translate insights into strategy

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
10+ years relevant business experience in product management or related roles.
Understanding of iterative development and software delivery processes.
Expertise in Agile Product Management, stakeholder management, market and user research, and process design.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Owns long-term product roadmap aligned with business strategy.
Develops product strategy using personas, use cases, benefits, and value propositions.
Leads prioritization of roadmaps and releases across multiple products.
Collaborates with teams to resolve conflicts and ensure clear business outcomes.
Tracks KPIs and ensures product outcomes deliver measurable value.
