Job summary

Thrivent Financial is seeking an experienced IT leader to design solutions, guide architecture, and land delivery approaches across product teams. You will partner with Product Management to set strategy, roadmaps, and measurable targets, while promoting engineering best practices and cross-team collaboration.

The role emphasizes coaching engineers, talent planning, and driving initiatives that align with Thrivent’s business goals. Remote-friendly with broad responsibilities and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible positions in Information Technology including 5+ years’ experience in IT discipline.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in all aspects of a specific IT discipline.
• 3+ years’ management/supervisory experience in IT functional area.
• Proven ability to communicate with internal/external stakeholders and lead multidiscipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Designing Solutions Review technical solution design and architecture and provide guidance and direction.
• Lead partnerships with Product Manager on initiatives and features.
• Collaborates with Product Manager for strategies, targets and measures.
• Set product/platform technology strategy and roadmaps.
• Promote engineering practices and continuous improvement; establish enterprise frameworks.
