Job summary

CRH plc's Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Product Engineer to design and enhance the Fibrelyte product line and support other plastics and concrete enclosures for water, energy, and communications markets. You will create, refine, and validate products with cross‑functional teams across operations and product management.

This remote role supports multiple US plants and focuses on meeting industry standards, prototyping, testing, and smooth product introductions to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in product development for manufactured products.
• Experience with design standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Establish design specs based on industry and customer standards.
• Lead design, detailing, prototyping, and testing of enclosures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to bring products from concept to release.
• Coordinate internal and external testing and prototyping activities.
• Ensure manufacturability and smooth transfer to production.
