Job summary

OLDCASTLE INFRASTRUCTURE, INC. is seeking a Product Engineer to drive new product design and enhancements for Fibrelyte and related brands.

You will collaborate with product management, operations, and cross-functional teams to bring designs from concept to commercial release, including prototyping, testing, and ensuring manufacturability. The role is remote, supporting multiple US plants, with travel up to ~20% and a base salary of $85,000–$95,000 per year plus a target 10% bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in product development with physical products.
• Experience with design for manufacturability and production tooling.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and product compliance.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Establish design specifications based on industry and customer standards.
• Lead product design, detailing, prototyping and testing of enclosures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring a product from concept to release.
• Coordinate internal and external testing and prototyping.
• Ensure manufacturability and assist tooling, automation, and assembly processes.
• Create SKU's and Bills of Materials.
• Attend job sites and customer meetings for technical support.
• Research new technologies to keep Oldcastle at industry forefront.
• Support pre-sale and post-sale activities with sales and service teams.
• Maintain regulatory approvals and help acquire new ones.
