Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Product Engineer to design, test, and iterate Fibrelyte products and related enclosure solutions for water, energy, and communications markets in North America. This remote role supports multiple US plants and collaborates with product management, operations, and drafting teams.

You will perform design calculations, 3D modeling, prototyping, testing, and documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance and manufacturability. Travel approx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in product development of physically manufactured goods.
• Proactive collaborator with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and product compliance.

Responsibilities

• Establish design specifications based on industry and customer standards.
• Perform, oversee, and direct product design and detailing with prototyping and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to commercial release.
• Coordinate internal and third-party testing and prototyping of product.
• Ensure manufacturability and smooth introduction to production.
• Create SKU’s and Bills of Material; provide technical support for quality standards.
