Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Product Designer for a remote, contract engagement. You will shape UX across responsive web and native mobile experiences, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to deliver accessible, high‑quality solutions in a regulated environment.

The role requires a strong design portfolio, proficiency in Figma, and experience with design systems. This is a W2 position offering medical/dental/vision benefits, 401k with matching, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• UX/UI design experience for responsive web applications.
• Native iOS and Android design experience preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful execution, accessibility, and attention to detail.
• Figma proficiency and experience with design systems, Material Design, and iOS Human Interface Guidelines.
• Experience in regulated industries, preferably healthcare or medical devices.
• Ability to communicate complex design ideas and articulate design decisions.
• Exposure to user research and familiarity with AI-assisted design tools is a plus.
• Ability to work cross-functional and operate effectively in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define product strategy and near-term tactics.
• Act as a voice for design by shaping the look, feel, and interactions across products and communicating the vision.
• Propose and drive new design ideas that impact the broader product portfolio.
• Champion user needs across patients, caregivers, providers, and internal tool users.
• Contribute to a constructive design culture and welcome feedback.
• Design responsive web applications and native iOS and Android experiences with accessibility in mind.
• Collaborate in Agile product environments and adapt to changing priorities.
• Deliver on deadlines while maintaining craft and quality.
