Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required; related experience in product listings, catalog support, ecommerce operations, or information maintenance is a plus.
• Familiarity with product attributes, categories, item identifiers, descriptive fields, and structured product information.
• Comfort using spreadsheets and data entry such as Google Sheets to review lists, sort information, and identify incomplete fields.
• Ability to apply naming conventions, taxonomy guidance, and attribute standards consistently across product listings.
• Clear written communication for asking focused follow-up questions and documenting update notes for internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Monitor a shared request queue, emails, and internal tickets for new product data updates, corrections, and item setup requests.
• Review submitted product names, descriptions, categories, attributes, identifiers, and supplier details for completeness and consistency.
• Compare incoming item details with approved source information and established product taxonomy rules before making updates.
• Enter and maintain product attributes in the assigned product information workspace, using clear naming conventions and standardized values.
• Use spreadsheets and data entry such as Google Sheets to reconcile item lists, identify blank fields, and track update status.
• Organize assigned tasks in a project management platform such as Asana, keeping task progress current for product managers and collaborators.
• Record the source of each update and concise notes explaining corrections, open questions, or decisions made during review.
• Follow up with merchandising contacts, product managers, or operations colleagues when product details are missing, conflicting, or unclear.
• Escalate unresolved attribute conflicts, duplicate items, and category questions to the product data lead for direction.
• Respond to internal questions about listing status, attribute definitions, and completed updates using approved product information.
• Meet quality expectations through accurate entries, timely turnaround, complete notes, consistent attributes, and prompt follow-up on open items.
