refurbed is seeking a Taxonomy/Catalogue Expert to own the global category tree, attributes, and data models that power search, filters, listings, pricing, and compliance across markets. You will design schemas, govern naming conventions, and lead deduplication and data-quality initiatives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

You will collaborate with Category Management, Compliance, Marketing, and Customer Service to drive alignment, audit catalogue quality with SQL/Looker, and design

• Experience with product taxonomy in ecommerce or marketplaces.
• Data modeling mindset with schema-driven approach.
• Proficiency in SQL and BI tools for catalog audits.
• Familiarity with SEO and search mechanics for attributes.
• Experience with automation to run taxonomy audits.
• Strong cross-functional communication without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own the global category tree structure and taxonomy audits.
• Design attribute schemas and govern naming conventions.
