Job summary

Talentoma seeks a Product Catalog Administrator to manage and update the online catalog from a home workspace in Pennsylvania. This fully remote role requires coordinating with product managers, suppliers, and ecommerce colleagues to ensure accurate product information and timely updates.

You will learn Salsify and Asana, maintain data quality, and track tasks using project tools. A 40-hour workweek is expected with flexible shift times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required; related experience maintaining online product listings is preferred.
• Basic understanding of product attributes, item identifiers, categories, variants.
• Willingness to learn Salsify and Asana through guided practice.
• Ability to compare source information carefully and follow review steps.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming catalog requests and supplier emails, identify additions or changes, and prioritize work.
• Compare submitted product information with source material, checking identifiers, descriptions, dimensions, categories, and variants.
• Enter approved attributes into a PIM system such as Salsify, ensuring consistent naming.
• Maintain product lifecycle statuses, separate drafts from approved listings, avoid publishing before checks.
• Check digital asset references against correct products and variants, flag missing or mismatched images.
• Prepare standardized import templates, verify source columns, review results for missing values or rejects.
• Track requests in a PM tool like Asana, note changes and next actions.
• Escalate conflicting specs to the catalog team lead when needed.
• Review completed entries for accuracy and completeness before final review.
• Close requests and summarize unresolved items for the next shift.
