Job summary

The Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign seeks a Procurement Officer Assistant to support the Engineering Business Services Center in purchasing for faculty, staff, and students. Under supervision, you will assist in procurement requests, vendor coordination, and basic contract activities across EBSC units.

Minimum qualifications include limited work experience related to procurement or six months related college credit.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating and preparing procurement requests for EBSC units.
• Process procurement requests and issue purchase orders with proper authorization.
• Coordinate with vendors and campus offices to resolve accounts payable.
• Reconcile monthly accounts by matching receipts to charges and entering corrections in Banner.
• Assist with simple contract documents and iBuy/P-Card processes.
