Job summary

Asia GMP Compliance, a UK-based pharmaceutical consultancy, is expanding its procurement support team in India to assist the UK function. The Procurement Administrator will coordinate purchasing activities across the business, ensuring timely orders, accurate records, and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics or related discipline.
• Experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain or Materials Planning.
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma, healthcare, manufacturing, FMCG).
• Experience using SAP ERP/MRP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, organisational and supplier management skills.
• Knowledge of GMP and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Commercial awareness and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders for raw materials, packaging components, consumables, and services.
• Ensure all purchase orders are reviewed and authorised by the Procurement Manager.
• Monitor supplier order confirmations and delivery schedules to ensure continuity of supply and update in SAP.
• Maintain procurement database, supplier pricing files, and purchasing records.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, delivery performance, and order queries for open orders.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate delays or risks to mitigate impact.
• Maintain RFQ Excel trackers, collate 35 supplier quotations for NPI projects, and share comparisons.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, documentation, and ongoing supplier relationship management.
• Ensure compliance with GMP requirements and internal procedures.
