Job summary

GenScript USA Inc. seeks an experienced procurement professional to lead material, CAPEX and service purchasing. You will negotiate contracts, manage supplier relations and drive cost reductions while ensuring compliance with global SOPs.

You will collaborate with production teams and cross-functional partners, report to the Procurement Manager, and leverage SAP/ERP systems to optimize terms and performance across the supply base.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as Buyer/ Lead Buyer.
• Knowledge of industry bidding procedures and criteria.
• Strong communication, influencing, collaboration skills.
• Strong contract management and negotiations skills.
• Strong Project and change management capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication with Excel, PowerPoint and SAP.
• Ability to improve working efficiency through KPI programs.
• Excellent computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP.
• Experience with multi-cultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Material/CAPEX/Service procurement.
• Pursue purchasing and cost reduction initiatives.
• Address issues with internal/external customers.
• Negotiate contracts and optimize terms with partners.
• Maintain relationships with functional managers to understand needs.
• Handle MSA, annual contracts, and bid management.
• Comply with global procurement SOPs and file systems.
• Review supplier performance against obligations and SLAs.
• Maintain material codes in ERP/SAP and related systems.
