Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Process Safety Manager to lead and evolve our process safety governance across facilities handling hazardous materials. You will drive PHAs/HAZOP, MOC, incident investigations, and regulatory alignment while partnering with operations and engineering to reduce risk and protect people and assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field required.
• 5–8 years in EHS/Process Safety across high-hazard industries.
• Experience leading PHA/HAZOP studies and MOC programs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA PSM and EPA RMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of Process Safety Management programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk reduction across facilities.
• Coordinate PHAs, MOC, incident investigations, and root-cause analysis.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance to drive improvements.
