Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Process Consultant for a full-time contract to analyze, map, and optimize business processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design practical improvements that improve efficiency, quality, and productivity across the organization.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and experience guiding change management. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are available, with a typical 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of process consulting or related experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience mapping processes and creating SOPs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Stakeholder management and facilitation abilities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams at different levels.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct assessments, interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
• Document current and future-state processes with maps and diagrams.
• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for automation.
• Develop improvement recommendations aligned with business priorities.
• Collaborate with leaders and teams to design effective process solutions.
• Create SOPs and workflow documentation; support standardization.
• Support redesign, optimization, and transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate impact of changes on people, systems, costs and performance.
• Establish KPIs and reporting to measure improvement.
• Facilitate workshops and requirements gatherings; manage changes.
• Assist with implementation and adoption of improvements.
• Monitor performance post-implementation and iterate as needed.
• Leverage technology to enhance efficiency and automation.
• Ensure compliance with policies and controls.
