Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Process Improvement Lead to drive execution of enterprise operational processes within the CPES team.

You will coordinate cross-functional workstreams, maintain project plans, governance routines, and documentation to ensure standardized processes and readiness for deployment. You will partner with department leaders to support implementation readiness, issue resolution, and risk management across the enterprise portfolio, while enabling governance and executive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 4+ years coordinating enterprise-level operational processes or cross-functional workstreams.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt certification.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple workstreams and priorities.
• Experience maintaining project plans, timelines, and governance materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, design, standardization, and optimization of processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities using data and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Drive adoption of best practices, lessons learned, and process standards for operational consistency.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, maps, workflows, and governance artifacts.
• Plan, execute, and coordinate operational initiatives and strategic workstreams.
• Lead governance meetings, track decisions, risks, and stakeholder commitments; ensure follow-through.
• Prepare executive-ready reporting, dashboards, and status updates.
• Escalate critical issues and risks to leadership as needed.
• Partner with business leaders to drive alignment and successful delivery of initiatives.
• Build collaborative relationships to promote operational excellence and sustain performance.
