Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Process Consultant for a full-time contract to evaluate, design, and implement process improvements across business operations.

You will lead assessments, map current and future states, and collaborate with leaders to drive efficiency, quality, and productivity improvements. The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder facilitation, and experience with process mapping tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 3+ years of process consulting, business analysis, operations, process improvement, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of process analysis, workflow design, and optimization.
• Experience mapping processes, SOPs, and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong stakeholder facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes, workflows, procedures, and operating models to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct process assessments, interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to understand requirements.
• Document current-state and future-state processes using process maps and flowcharts.
• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, control gaps, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop recommendations and improvement strategies aligned with objectives.
• Collaborate with leaders, operations, technology, and SMEs to design process solutions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and workflow specs.
• Support process redesign, optimization, standardization, and transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate impact of changes on people, systems, costs, and performance.
• Establish process performance metrics and reporting mechanisms.
• Analyze data and trends to identify root causes and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Facilitate improvement workshops and requirements gathering.
• Support change management and adoption of new processes and systems.
• Monitor performance post-implementation and suggest further improvements.
• Explore automation, digital tools, and ERP/CRM opportunities to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure alignment with policies, controls, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare executive-level reports, business cases, and recommendations.
• Manage multiple consulting projects with timelines and quality control.
• Stay abreast of BPM, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and automation trends.
